Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to the Kent Park Primary School website.

It is a privilege to be the Principal of Kent Park Primary School and I am very proud to lead our team of dedicated staff, talented students and our supportive community.

At Kent Park, we work together to uphold our School Values of Kindness, Respect and Responsibility to create a positive atmosphere for all of our students to continue to love learning. We have achieved significant student learning growth outcomes over the last three years and our new School Strategic Plan outlines our future improvement goals. Our teachers work and plan in teams and are continually improving their teaching and learning techniques and practices. The partnership that exists between home and school plays a vital part in everything we do and we encourage parents to take an active interest in their child’s educational and social progress.

Our school facilities and grounds provide a stimulating learning environment for our students. Two large gymnasiums, flexible classroom learning spaces with specialist rooms for Visual Art, Science and Technology, Environment and Sustainability, Auslan, Library, Before and After School Care, Music and Performing Arts, two large vegetable gardens, chook shed, designated Prep area and playground, 5/6 playground, two sandpits and a large oval – all in an established native setting.
